Plants with antimicrobial potential have been implicated in the treatment of infection. Studies shown that extracts from diverse plants antibacterial and or antitrypanosomal activities against infectious agents. This research work examined vitro testing ethanol extract Xylopia aethiopica Salmonella typhimurium Shigella species isolated wistar mouse already infected Trypanosoma evansi brucei brucei, 60 16 weeks old were used was randomly grouped into 8 groups where N = 5 group A, B, E, F,G H.
